FIBER CAMP 2012 for Youth
What better way to start the summer vacation than with a week of FIBER CAMP at Clever Ewe! The program is geared for students to do one FIBER CAMP each year. Space is limited to eight students per class so don't delay calling Clever Ewe (682-1545) to sign up.
FIBER CAMP I (two sessions to choose from)
June 11 - 15 10 a.m - 12 p.m. OR 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
FIBER CAMP I is for 8 - 14 yr. old students. The week is filled with fun learning about different sheep, learning to knit (or improving the technique of those who already knit!), dying yarn and other activities. $60 includes all materials
FIBER CAMP II
June 18 - 22 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
FIBER CAMP II is for 9 - 14 yr. old students. This fun filled week has the students learning the purl stitch (or improving their technique), making a small felted bag, dying yarn and other activities.
FIBER CAMP III
June 25 - 29 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
FIBER CAMP III is for 10 - 15 yr. old students. This week is filled with knitting and weaving. The students learn to weave a simple scarf on a rigid heddle loom and to knit a small project with double point needles. $75 includes all materials and the use of a rigid heddle loom during the class time.
FIBER CAMP IV
June 25 - 29 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
For those who have finished Fiber Camp III, this is for you to knit your first sweater. Select a pattern and yarn and recieve assistance in knitting your choice, even after the camp week in over.
